About the Founder

Brennan E. Wells is a graduate of Prairie View A&M University (PVAMU) holding a degree in Political Science, with a minor in English. While attending  PVAMU Mr. Wells excelled in his academic pursuits, by obtaining academic honors such as Dean’s List throughout his tenure at PVAMU and being elected to represent PVAMU’s Pi Sigma Alpha (political science honor society) chapter as President. Moreover, Mr. Wells conducted and presented research on various social issues, such as gun violence, violence in inner cities and policy formation.

Outside of the classroom, Mr. Wells represented his university on multiple nationwide leadership conferences, was elected as Student Government Senator of the Year (2x) and won a national debate championship, the first for PVAMU since 1920. In addition to Mr. Wells’ accolades, he has given back to his university by acquiring over 1,000 volunteer hours, engaged in mentoring freshman through the B Cubed male mentoring program and assisted in registering 1,100 students to vote in city, county, state and federal elections.

In Mr. Wells’ post-graduate pursuits, he has recently completed a fellowship with the Center for a New American Security as their first HBCU fellow. Mr. Wells is seeking admissions to law school for the Fall 2017 semester to continue his efforts to better his community and protect all rights due to People of Color.
